Hello K-PopFan12, I'm meatgrind89, you may know my name since this username is all over the internet. You can see this name mostly on Reddit, GFriend Discord & BTS Discord. I was the one who adopt the Wikia before you. I just want to say thanks for reviving this Wikia. I suddenly stopped working on it because of lack of knowledge in programming, mean less codes to know.
I hope you still going to edit this Wikia even in the future.
That's a valid reason to not reply so that's okay.
You know https://namu.wiki.com? It's like Wikipedia but with a detailed information. It's in Korean and I want to translate the GFriend article so I can put it in here but my knowledge is poor on that. There's a BTS article too.
Hey I think we should stick with the way that I did the lyrics before; I think it looks neater and more understandable and also I checked for Achievement features, when I adopted and they weren't there, I think its an update with Wikia.
Which one do you prefer: "Gfriend", "GFriend", "G-Friend", "G-friend" or "GFRIEND"?
In my opinion, it should be "GFriend" because it is the most common one used in most international sites. "GFRIEND" was used by most Korean sites, including GFriend itself. So which of those types of "GFriend" do you prefer? (Yeah, I use a lot of "GFriend" to convince you. :) )
I also wanted to ask you if you'd like to make the template for Tours and Concerts, since you have made the others and I think it'll be better if they looked the same. :) I created the page you just (if you want to) create the infobox thanks
Hey I was thinking if the Fantastic Duo 2 page is really necessary, because it hasn't really got anything to do with GFriend, only that Yuju was the first female idol to win the show. What do you think??
I just thought that the pages on the "GFriend Wiki" should be linked to GFriend, Fantastic Duo 2 isn't really linked to GFriend, only that one member (Yuju) won the show and we can easily add that to her page on the "Trivia" section. Also for example, when I first became the owner of this wiki, I saw pages for the Korean Music Programs, such as Inkigayo and Music Core, these pages aren't linked to GFriend in any way : nearly every kpop artist will perform their recent song weekly and "Fantastic Duo 2" is a show where fans can sing a duet with their favorite singer using their cell phones. They are not really linked to GFriend! I hope you understand where I'm coming from.
Yuju shouldn't have her own wiki since she is a member of a band and not a solo artist, and Fantastic Duo 2 is just a show that Yuju won, so there is no reason to make a page for it even if she did have her own wiki! She won the show and she was only featured in one episode, if for example, she hosted the show every episode then it would be relevant, however it is not!
Anyway, I was thinking after we made the main pages, should we make Pairing pages. For example: Wonha (Sowon and Eunha), if you need further details you can check this pairing page out on the BTS Wiki.
That's nice. There is basically a section for that (this and this) on GFriend's Namu Wiki (if you can read enough Korean). I can add more than that but I need to focus more on putting the lyrics first. :)
Edit: Do we have to create EVERY pair possible from the group? Or only the notable ships?
That would be 21 if all.
That would be inappropriate of we do it like that. Singles are supposed to have different cover art to their b-sides, but in this case, Korean singles uses the album cover as a single cover unless it was released as a digital single (e.g. Inferiority Complex was released as a digital single before the release of Park Kyung's Notebook but the album's second single used the album cover as a its cover). Putting a music video below the infobox would probably the best idea. :) (I think I wrote too much, sorry for that)
